Pick lists on the floor, not on paper

Approved orders appear on rugged handheld devices the moment they’re approved. Staff pick, pack, weigh and photograph each order on the device, without walking back to the office.

  1. Order capture
  2. Order review
  3. ERP & accounts sync
  4. Warehouse pick & pack
  5. Shipping & carriers

Built for gloves, dust and long shifts

Rugged devices

Drop-tested, waterproof Android phones with batteries that last a full shift, configured by us and delivered ready to use.

Locked to the job

Each device runs in kiosk mode, so staff can only use the order platform. No other apps, no browsing.

Quick PIN sign-in

Staff tap their name and enter a 4-digit PIN. Devices are shared between shifts, and every action is still recorded against the right person.

Urgent orders first

The queue is sorted by delivery date, with orders that need packing before the 3pm next-day cutoff highlighted.

No double picking

Opening an order marks it as in progress with the picker’s name, so two people can’t work on the same order.

Photos on every order

At least one photo of the packed order is required before it can be completed, and the photos are attached to the order in your ERP.

From queue to packed in four screens

The order queue

Every approved order waiting to be picked, with customer, delivery date, carrier and number of lines. Collections have their own screen, with days waiting.

  • Sorted by delivery date
  • 3pm cutoff highlighted
  • In-progress orders show who has them

Pick lists that follow the warehouse

Lines are sorted by product group and then alphabetically, so pickers move through the building in a sensible order, ticking each line as they go.

  • Grouped by product group
  • A tick to confirm each line
  • Packing unlocks once every line is ticked

Weights, dimensions and photos

Parcels or pallets are added with their weight and dimensions, with a running total. Photos are taken in the same flow, and completing the order starts the shipping workflow.

  • Parcels for DPD, pallets for TPN
  • Running total weight
  • Photos uploaded to the ERP order

Typical scope

The warehouse is built in the second phase, once order automation is live.
